HIV in America is at historic lows, with infections down 73% thanks to PrEP and treatment. In Africa, 25.6 million people still live with HIV, held back by war, poverty, and stigma. These two stories—one of progress, one of struggle—show what’s possible and what’s missing. To end HIV globally, we need America’s science, Africa’s grit, and a shared fight against inequality.
