Ep. #22, Indiana Jones and the Emperor's tomb, Xbox

This week the Bros are back a man short for this episode. We discuss our biggest gaming disappointment of 2022. What were you most disappointed with in 2022? A RetBro Review of Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb available for the Xbox and PS2. Did we have a fear of snakes? Did we enjoy playing this Tomb Raider/Uncharted style game? Find out. This week the Bros are back for the new year. We discuss our favorite game of 2022. Was God of War Ragnarök our favorite game of the year? A RetBro review of Iron Man Vr. Did we feel like a super hero billionaire playboy? Find out. Another go of Game Stocks and we may be getting better but not good enough. Random trivia with the guys knowing the answers as we used these questions on our last recording that was lost in action. Ep. #20, A very RetBro Christmas

This week the boys chill and talk about Christmases past. What was your favorite Christmas memory? That warm fuzzy feeling you get when you think about the Christmases of yesteryears. No game stocks this episode. No news. No history, well gaming history. We do open the show with a trivia segment where we see who’s going to close the year wearing the crown. Until next year. Ep. #19, Aladdin, Sega Genesis, SNES

This week the Bros are back to recording remotely. We discuss what we think is the biggest console disappointment to us. Lots to choose from. Was it the Wii U or the Dreamcast or the Vita. That’s 3 of the most debatable. A double feature review where we settle once and for all which version of Aladdin is better, Genesis or Super Nintendo. (Spoiler: we mostly enjoyed both of them) Random trivia with some slobber knocker questions. Can Zach come back and take back his crown? Another go at game stocks. We were closer this time, but were we close enough? This week in Gaming with James ending Dec. 13th. Zach is back this episode so we get a full news segment and run through what has happened at the game awards so far as we recorded during them. That’s all for this week. Ep. #18, Super Mario land 2: 6 Golden Coins, Gameboy

This week the Bros welcome listener Matthew to the podcast. Matthew is a huge video game fan and more importantly a huge Nintendo 64 fan with a complete NA set. With Matthew in mind we talk about what Nintendo 64 games we would like to see brought back to life or continued. I think most people would agree that we need a new Banjo or Conker game. What would you bring back? RetBro review of our first handheld game Jumping all the way back to 1992 with Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. With no Zach to defend his crown, Matthew challenges James in the trivia segment. Who comes out on top in this heavyweight bout? Weekly history ending Nov. 31st. This week the Bros talk about God of War and what other franchise they would like to see a reimagined sequel or reboot. What would you like to see be reimagined? We go back to the PS1 with some Jackie Chan Stuntmaster. 2 of us loved it. One did not. Who do you think was right? Another go at our Guess the Price Segment, Game Stocks.(Spoiler: we are really bad at this) Now with a pot of over $100! Random Trivia with a special bonus question for a prize. This week the Bros talk about what game they got that they were highly anticipating and it turned out to be a bust. We’ve all been excited for that one game that just falls flat a few minutes after playing. What’s your most memorable? Special Extended Review for our Halloween Episode as we test our sanity in Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem. The first M rated game Published by Nintendo. This game has quite a following. Is it as good as the hype? Does it give any spooky scares? Another go at our Guess the Price Segment, Game Stocks.(Spoiler: we still don’t get close) Now with a pot of over $100! Random Trivia as Kyle goes a little harder on them with questions not having options. Were they up to the task? Weekly Gaming History ending November 7th. Who would you like to see added to some of these games? Would you like Xbox to jump in and make their own? We get Spooky in the RetBro review as we got a double feature on both Splatterhouse 2 and 3! Which Splatterhouse game is the best? Are they worth checking out or are they just cheap goofy Jason ripoffs? You be the judge. Game Stocks week 5.
