Season 2
Receive That
This week Pastor John preaches from Mark 10:46–52, teaching the story of Blind Bartimaeus, a man who was physically blind but spiritually aware. This sermon is a call to stop letting pride, busyness, or fear keep you from receiving what God has already prepared for you. 'Receive That' which is spoken over you. 'Receive That' which the Holy Spirit is helping you through. And when Jesus is present, don't stay silent. This week also includes the companion Wednesday Bible Study, "Pray That" — a guide to praying specifically and scripturally for others.
Where Is Your Help?
Trouble is coming — the question is, where will you look for help? In this message, Pastor John preaches from Psalm 121:1–8, "I look to the hills, my help comes from the Lord". Whether it's car trouble in a South Philly parking lot, a layoff notice, or a child in a hospital bed, this sermon speaks to the pressures of real life. God is your Keeper, your Protector, and your Preserver — and He never slumbers.
Wake Up!
This Pentecost Sunday message is simple: Wake Up! This episode of the Replay Gospel podcast is a flashback from 2025. Filled with the Holy Spirit, Pastor John preaches from 1 Corinthians 15:30–34, asking us to reflect on the impact of the Gospel on our everyday lives. From the danger of being canceled for your faith, to the toxin of worldly familiarity, the sermon is a call to Christian living with urgency, boldness, and purpose. Your testimony matters. Someone's salvation is waiting to hear from you.
No One Is Perfect
None of us walk into our calling with a clean record. The Apostle Paul is our example. In this week's message, Pastor John examines 1 Timothy 1:12–17 to show how God takes unlikely people and uses them for powerful purposes. From Saul the persecutor to Paul the apostle, we are reminded that grace doesn't only cover your past, it redirects your future. If you've ever felt too broken, too lost, or too unqualified, this sermon is for you. Your past is not a disqualifier, it's part of your testimony. Press on.
Remembering Our Mothers
On this Mother's Day, Pastor John takes us back to the arms that first held us. Through the story of Hannah in 1 Samuel 1, we discover a mother's greatest act of faith: holding on just long enough, then trusting God for the future of our children. This message is layered in good memories, love, and a powerful call from John 3:3 to be born again, not into mama's arms, but this time into the arms of Father God. Mama prayed. Now the decision is yours.
What Do My Good Days Look Like?
In "What Do My Good Days Look Like?" Pastor John examines Genesis 1, asking this question that hits close to home. The sermon draws three keys from the Creation record: seeing the world as God intended, aligning our lives with His Word as our operations manual for daily living, and spreading diverse seeds of grace across every field He's gives us to visit. This message challenges us to see our good days the way God already has.
Good Days Ahead; Prepare, Defend, Endure
In "Good Days Ahead," Pastor John takes us to 1 Peter 3:8–17 with an encouraging reminder: God's Word doesn't simply promise "better" days, it promises good days. When we - Prepare, Defend, and Endure, we discover how to position spiritually and physically for God's promises. Using the example of the Israelites' journey and the words of both Peter and Paul, the message encourages believers to stop reaching for quick fixes and start preparing intentionally for a turn around to our good days.
Please Respond
In Please Respond, the sermon examines Matthew 22 about God’s invitation to the wedding feast of His Son. Through the parable, we see that God continually sends messengers of the Gospel, extending grace to all — both those who were first invited and those who are on the “waiting list.” We are reminded that salvation is a free invitation, but we must respond “yes” and accept the covering Christ provides. The sermon calls listeners to recognize the value of God’s invitation, rejoice in being grafted into His family, and respond in faith today.
Now Is The Time To Do Right
This sermon, Now Is the Time to Do Right, calls believers to live with urgency, compassion, and soul-seeking sensitivity. Drawing from Matthew 25, Pastor John reminds us that Jesus is coming back again and that our daily lives reveal whether we are producing the fruit of the faith we proclaim. The message challenges listeners to recognize everyday opportunities to serve, love, and minister — not as community service, but as evidence of our being transformed with the heart of Christ. With clarity and conviction, the sermon urges us to act now, to live ready for Jesus' return, and to let our works reflect the heart of Jesus in every moment we are blessed with in the earth.
Seek See Rejoice
This Resurrection Sunday message, “Seek, See and Rejoice,” invites listeners into the early morning mission of the women in Matthew 28. The sermon highlights their determination to seek Jesus, see the empty grave "just as He said", and rejoice in the risen Christ. The message reminds us that strongholds are broken through God's sovereignty, clarity is provided in the scripture, and eternal life is gained through Jesus' victory over the grave.
