Episode notes
“How can you work with people like that?” Jason Dillman believes that people deserve second, third, even fourth chances to better their lives, and doesn’t agree that the stigma around them means they should be left behind. Working with the Madison County Problem Solving Courts (Drug Court, Reentry Court, and Mental Health Court), Dillman and many others push to help those who have suffered from addictions and hardships of all types to become functioning members of the community. Clients go through their assigned program based on their eligibility; working through their addictions in treatment, finding stable work, developing relationships with the alumni network and the community, and finding freedom in all areas of their life.
