Ep237 Paul Parson: Addicted Early, Redeemed Young.

Faith In Your Recovery Podcast by Randy Davis

Episode notes

Paul Parson began drinking at 6 years old, experimenting with alcohol while his mother battled addiction and grief. By 8, he was drinking anything he could find. By 12–13, he was using marijuana, cocaine, pills, and more, drifting into gang life, homelessness, and deep emotional collapse.

Addiction fueled his depression, rage, loneliness, and suicidal thoughts, pushing him toward a breaking point. But at 19, everything changed when he encountered Jesus—and the cycle that defined his childhood was shattered.

This is Part 2 of our two‑part conversation with Paul and his wife, Coral—two powerful journeys of addiction, trauma, redemption, and the hope found in recovery through Christ.
