Episode notes

This week on the Rap Lab, the fellas are back and discussing the 1995 Source Awards. That night was shrouded with infamy for several reasons including a then unknown Atlanta Rap duo getting booed off the stage years before they became legends, the tension caused that continued an intercoastal rap war, and A music mogul declaring he's going to die in the same region he lives. Episode highlights include QG breaking down what The Source Magazine meant to hip hop at that time, Alfred almost having an aneurysm trying to figure out how Craig Mack's "Flava in Ya Ear" won song of the year, and T.O. discussing how and why The Notorious B.I.G. beat Nas for Artist of the year.
