This is the first of three "The Media Experience" conversations aired on Radio KCLA-LP 100.7FM. This segment was recorded on Day Five of the ICE immigration raids in both the Los Angeles City and County area. Our special guests LA County Supervisor Janice Hahn and LA City Councilmember Tim McOsker.
EPISODE 3 This edition of "The Media Experience" spotlights special guest Araksya Karapetian, news anchor/host of Fox 11's "Good Day LA". This episode was recorded June 24, 2025 with host Ruben Villaescusa. Araksya shares her immigration story story which begins in Soviet controlled Armenia, post 1988's devastating 6.8 earthquake. A story which continues with a new life as a South Bay resident, who establishes a journalism career and grows it to anchor one of LA's best known morning news operations.
