Today’s episode is going to be different from what this podcast will typically be, but hopefully you listeners won’t mind too much. I am going to be telling you all my own story - or at least the parts that I can fit into a podcast episode! I realize that not everyone has interacted with or heard from someone who is both queer AND a follower of Jesus, so I feel it’s important to share my journey of contending with both queerness and faith. In light of what has happened in the last 24 hours, I have decided to do an unplanned episode on the topic of Israel, War, and Government. So if you haven’t heard, the United States bombed Iran last night in an attempt to stifle nuclear power being used as weapons against Israel. There are some people who believe that it is a Christian’s duty to defend Israel, and therefore this was a good and God-backed decision. I disagree vehemently - for MANY reasons… let me break down exactly why...
