The believer’s journey is a journey of focus. Hebrews 12:2 says, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.” Jesus endured shame, pain, and rejection because He understood the glory that would come afterward. His life teaches that purpose is greater than temporary suffering, and believers must keep their eyes on Him regardless of the challenges around them.

The message also reveals that pain is sometimes part of God’s process. Just as a seed must fall to the ground before it produces fruit, there are seasons believers go through that prepare them for glory. Nothing went wrong with Jesus at the cross; the suffering was necessary for something greater to be revealed. In the same way, God may allow difficult experiences because He is bringing forth something powerful through them.
