Michelle Mondia started her work as a death midwife 15 years ago. She specializes in home funerals, green burials, and culturally specific end-of-life practices. As an advocate for more equitable end-of-life practices, Michelle founded the Death Workers Alliance, a space dedicated to supporting BIPOC death doulas and serving marginalized communities.
