Good morning. Pennsylvania. I'm Aaron Jolly. Step outside this morning and you'll feel that damp chill clinging to the air — classic early March in Pennsylvania. We're waking up to 40 degrees statewide, with fog still lingering in spots after that overnight low of 37. But here's the twist: this gray, quiet morning is just the calm before a wild weather ride. Western Pennsylvania is bracing for our first severe thunderstorm threat of 2026. The Storm Prediction Center has placed the region under a Slight Risk, with Pittsburgh and points west facing potential damaging winds, hail. And even an isolated tornado this afternoon. Temperatures will soar to 78 degrees — that's 30 degrees above normal for early March — before storms roll through between 4 and 8 P.M.
