The fourth great end of the Church (the fifth in our series) is the preservation of the truth. This may sound very straightforward, as if the truth is something we possess and must work to protect. But stewardship is a better way to think of this than possession or protection; we have been entrusted with a message and a tradition that have the potential to bring light and life to others...if we are good stewards of that trust.
