For many of us, the 10th day of Ramadan is when our bodies begin to feel the tiring physical effects of fasting. This can affect us spiritually, especially if we didn't make the effort to create any safeguards to stay consistent earlier in the year. In todays discussion, we share some key points on maintaining our consistency and elevating our Iman in order to make the best out of the last 20 days of Ramadan!
Throughout the first week of Ramadan, we are still training our minds and bodies to abstain from the bad habits that we've accumulated over the year. This a the perfect time for us to begin training our nafs in order for us to stay consistent. If you can do it throughout the course of Ramadan, you can do it throughout the remainder of the year! In this weeks episode, we discuss many of the desires that we struggle with and how to battle them.
There's no better topic to start season 2 off with than Ramadan! With Ramadan being only 5 days away, it's important for us to start building a fresh mindset if we haven't already. In this episode, we discuss Ramadan and how to prepare our hearts for it. We discuss righting our wrongs and creating a healthy environment for this blessed month. This was a year of immense loss and struggle for many of us, let's make the most out of this upcoming Ramadan and put ourselves in a winning mindset!
In this season finale, we discuss how we battle Islamophobia and the rights that we have as Muslims in the United States. This is a battle that all Muslims are tested with at least once in their life. Learning how to handle Islamophobia and those who have an agenda against Islam is crucial to the upcoming of the newer generation of Muslims.
Join us as we navigate through the struggles of maintaining our identity as Muslims. This is a very common problem, especially with the social influence, islamophobia, and media exposure that we struggle with nowadays. We were able to break down some potential causes of an "identity crisis" along with some strategies that help us maintain and carry our Muslim title proudly.
In this weeks episode, we discuss the many obstacles that the Muslim youth face throughout high school including peer pressure, grades, time management, and school/social balance. We also breakdown the many different forms of schooling along with the pros/cons of each method.
We are excited to share the first episode of our podcast, One True Deen. Many of us struggle with having a healthy balance between culture and religion. In this episode, we discuss how culture can impact our deen, and what we can do to preserve our deen along with some of the struggles we face on a day-to-day basis.
