Step outside right now and you'll feel something rare for early March. Warmth that doesn't apologize. We bottomed out at 56 degrees overnight. That's generous. But we picked up over a third of an inch of rain in the last 24 hours. And flooding concerns are still hanging around southeastern counties. Dense fog is blanketing parts of the state this morning — visibility is dropping fast. That fog lifts by mid-morning as southerly winds kick in.
Now here's where it gets interesting. We're flirting with record warmth today. Down in Cincinnati, you're climbing to 78 degrees. The record? 74, set back in 1910. Columbus hits 75. Up in Cleveland, you top out at 65. Skies clear out as the day goes on. And those southerly winds gust to 20 miles an hour.
