Season 4
What is Addiction?
Explicit
This season, we’re tackling Addiction. I'll explore why it happens, bust some myths, and uncover the realities. I’ll discuss society’s judgment versus support, the impact of addiction on relationships, and the role of triggers, temptations, and self-medicating. Later, we’ll delve into recovery, rehab, and life after addiction. But today, we’re starting at the beginning—understanding what addiction really is, the kinds of addiction, and how it develops. Let’s get into it. Addiction has impacted my life in ways I never expected—it doesn’t just affect the person struggling, it ripples through their relationships, their family, and everyone around them. I’ve learned that breaking the stigma starts with empathy, choosing to understand instead of judge. Addiction isn’t a choice; it’s a complex mental health condition, and it takes compassion and education to truly make a difference. Recovery is possible, and with the right support and resources, people can rebuild their lives. If you or someone you love is struggling, please know you’re not alone. Reach out (oh_for_fck_sake@outlook.com), I can share resources, or just listen. Addiction doesn’t define who someone is, and together, we can be part of the change. As always, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for tuning in and listening. Hang on tight for this crazy ride I call LiFE! It’s gonna be my BEST chapter yet. That's a Wrap!! End of Season 3

In this episode I am closing out my Season 3 on Mental Health. I covered a lot of awesome information this Season. Mental Health is something everyone deals with, it all comes down to the severity of how it's affecting your daily living. Now, this is all my personal opinions (take 'em or leave 'em) but I honestly feel like Mental Health needs to be addressed more. And it needs to be included in some kind of way to educate our children, most importantly. In today's society with all the stigmas and the way social media makes people think that certain things should be certain ways to be accepted and if, and only then, you can be accepted. If you're living to societies social "norm". Getting the help you need is NOT A BAD THING!! Mental Health holds a very BIG place in my heart. From what I witnessed my dad suffer through, my own personal struggles and now just wanting the world to be more aware of it and know it's OKAY to have bad days. And those bad days DONT MAKE YOU A BAD PERSON!! YOU MATTER. and so should your MENTAL HEALTH. In all seriousness, how can you take care of anyone else or get something done, if you aren't taking care of yourself first!! I promise, IT"S OKAY to give yourself the needed attention, maintenance, and love to live a healthy life. Please remember you can email me: oh_for_fck_sake@outlook.com I'm here to talk, listen, and help in any way I can. I've also provided some resources if you need those too. Friday Feels : Gone but Not Forgotten, The Silent Struggles of My Father’s Life

It's FRIDAY!!! In today's episode I'm diving into a chapter of my life that’s incredibly personal, painful, and profound—my father’s journey with mental health and the loss that came with it. Talking about him isn’t easy, but it’s necessary because his story, like so many others, highlights the reality of struggles that often remain hidden until it’s too late. I want to share his story not just to honor his memory, but to shed light on the quiet battles many people face in silence. This episode might be hard to listen to, but if it opens up just one conversation, helps someone feel less alone, or encourages someone to reach out for help, then it’s worth every word.
