Season Finale with Dermot Whelan - Where Comedy meets Calm
Explicit
Hi folks, welcome to the final episode of the current series of the Podcast and what a way to finish. I'm so thrilled to be joined by Comedian, TV & Radio Presenter, Best Selling Author of the book Mindfull and Meditation Coach, the one and only Mr Dermot Whelan. This was a superb chat on how a comedian became a Meditation teacher. What its like being an anxious young person and how we can all go for the quick fixes e.g the dreaded drink. But its all a journey and in Dermot's case, a fantastic and interesting one to finding Meditation and its benefits. We also chat about his upcoming Live Tour "Busy and Wrecked" and how there's never been a Live show like it before. Thanks so much to everyone who has tuned in this Season and can't wait to be back in the Spring for Season 3. Love, Clo xxx
From Depths of Darkness to Laps of Hope - Jason Byrne
Explicit
Hey folks, welcome back to the 2nd last episode of the current series of the Pod. I have been wanting to do an episode on addiction for a long time but wanted the person, the timing and the environment to be safe and comfortable. I couldn't have asked for better episode with Jason Byrne. Jason, a young guy from Dublin was a functioning addict. What started as curiosity at just 16 years old, turned into a high dependency for so many years. His story to sobriety is remarkable and inspiring. We talk about how he got better by using the Gym, running and Sea dips (I'm cold just writing that) and how if you want something enough, you have to fight for it and in this case, it was his life. Thanks so much Jason for sharing your courageous journey with me. Clo x
The Real Housewives of Ireland - One for the Bravo Fans
Explicit
Guys, I'm so excited about this one. Something "taboo" about me, is that I'm obsessed all things Bravo Real Housewives. I blame Covid ok! I needed something to escape the possible apocalypse we thought was coming our way. Anyway after a couple of years feeling like the only person in my world who has this obsession, this beaut of a South African came bouncing into my life a little over a year ago and we instantly bonded over all things Housewives. I have to admit, Natasha is an OG, there since the beginning but I'm here for it. We talk some of our faves from Beverley Hills, Salt Lake City to OC and Dubai. So yea, this is one for our fellow bravo babes :) If you're enjoying this Podcast, be sure to follow us on Instagram and Youtube!! Clo xx
Return of the Mack!!
Explicit
On the latest Episode of the Podcast, I'm rejoined by my longest pal, thorn in my side, sugar in my tea and underwire to my Bra, Miss Ciara Mack. This one all about our friendship spanning 35+ years, a couple of cringy trips down memory lane, our mutual love of Friends, piss takes of X Factor fails and lots more. She's untamed, unfiltered and unapologetically real and one of the many reasons I love her so much. So this episode is dedicated to hearty laughs with your pals and with life sometimes being heavy and adulting being a bit much, its nice to take a step back and switch off and just give you guys a glimpse of our wonderfully weird sisterhood. Endo Unfiltered - Breaking the Silence on our Lady Bits
Explicit
Welcome back to another great episode of the Pod. I'm so delighted to be rejoined by Amie Berns, my fellow endometriosis warrior queen. Since we last spoke, Amie finally had her Excision Surgery so we catch up on how she's doing now, why she needs more surgery aka Vaginal Rejuvenation (non cosmetic) and so much more. I honestly can talk with Amie for hours. She is so bubbly, natural and as honest as they come. We had a great time recording this one and even with the above title, we got a lot of laughs in. Respectfully, it's important to have a sense of humour sometimes about hard times and keeping the positivity shining bright Be sure to follow the podcast on Instagram and Youtube!! Clo xx
Curves of Positivity - Siobhan Mungovan's Story
Explicit
On this week's episode, I'm so thrilled to be joined by Siobhan Mungovan. Siobhan is a 2 Time Author, Host of the Smile Podcast, TedX Speaker and Couch. Siobhan also lives with Spina Bifida and Scoliosis among other medical issues. We sit down for a candid and heartwarming chat about her amazing life. How she's surpassed expectations medically, her zest for life, relationships, what made her write not one but two books and also her advocacy for Scoliosis and Spina Bifida. She talks about how people should learn to see past an outer shell and get to know a person for who they are on the inside and if you are curious, just bloody ask. I really enjoyed this one. Siobhan is an absolute character and we had such a lovely time chatting. Be sure to follow the podcast page on Instagram and YouTube. Clo x
Finding Nikki - Navigating a new Life after loss
Explicit
On the latest episode, I'm delighted to be joined by Nikki Veasey who some of you may know from her selfless work with Mo Chara Animal Rescue. Nikki sits down with me for my first in person interview of the season to discuss her life especially the last number of years which saw her sadly lose her husband Andy to cancer. We talk about her journey to finding herself which included incredible weight loss, cosmetic surgery, which unfortunately led to complications, the discovery of massive tumour and and so much more. One of the key takeways from this for me, is to never judge someone on their coping strategies or by what you perceive from the outside looking in.. There's no "How to" guide on grief, you just, do your best to get through. Nikki really is an inspiring woman with the heart of a lion, the courage and positivity that I definitely draw strength from. Season 2 - Episode 4. Clo is going Solo
Explicit
On this week's episode, I'm flying solo in between guests. I use this episode as a little time out to fill you in on life lately and reflect on so many changes the last year. A new job, new energy, new outlook, new friendships, new love of working out and adjusting to changes in myself on the inside and outside. I also reflect on my new relationship with anxiety and panic attacks and how they don't get in the driving seat any longer thanks to a lot of hard work in particular, Exposure therapy and wilful tolerance. These have been game changers for me. I hope you guys enjoy x If you are enjoying the podcast and content, be sure to follow it on Instagram and Youtube, As always, I'd love to hear from you guys, Clo email: nothingtaboowithyou@gmail.com

Explicit

DISCLAIMER!! I forgot to turn the echo off on my mic This week I'm delighted to be back with another super guest.
