Not Motivated Podcast with Azeez Amida - Trailer

About a year ago, I decided to step away from the CEO seat and retire early. Retirement for me wasn’t about slowing down, it was about pausing, reflecting, and asking myself: after years of leading & building companies and navigating boardrooms across Africa, what really matters next? What I found in that silence was clarity. Success and failure leave behind patterns, and those patterns hold lessons. Many of us go through life believing motivation is the secret ingredient. But I’ve learned it’s not. Motivation fades. Systems, discipline, and clarity outlast it. That’s why I’m launching Not Motivated Podcast. A podcast built on honest conversations and hard truths, the kind that comes from lived experience, tough choices, and the courage to admit when things break. Every Tuesday at 9am, starting October 7th, I’ll sit with thought leaders to share stories and actionable insights on life, growth, and everything in between. I retired from the corporate ladder, but not from the mission of growth. This is the next chapter.
