Jesus came with a purpose, and it wasn’t simply to give us a December holiday. He was born under the law to redeem those under the law. God’s law was great, but we humans were unable to keep it without fail. So Jesus came as the ONLY ONE who could and did fulfill the law. He then stood in our place, accepting through his sacrificial death the punishment we deserved. In doing so he set us free! In Christ, you are FREE to live WITH and FOR him!
