Christmas is God’s plan. Way before church leaders adopted the date of December 25, before Christmas cards were a thing and then stopped being a thing, before people hung lights on their trees, before mailboxes were stuffed with envy-inducing catalogues, God planned his work and worked his plan. Jesus’ arrival wasn’t arbitrary happenstance. He came in the fullness of time—intentionally and with purpose. Christmas therefore reminds us that God is indeed in charge and at work and always faithful. Listen as Dr. Bob Jordan leads us through Galatians 4:4.
