Episode notes
How can we trust God to do good things? Answer: Because God is good. It is not that there is some idea of good by which we describe or define God, but that God defines what is good. This difference is everything. Since God in his character and actions defines “good,” whatever God does cannot be evil or wicked or mean-spirited or borderline wrong or anything but absolute good. Psalm 34:8 invites us—even exhorts us—to “taste and see that the Lord is good.” Our God-given calling is to experience his goodness. Listen as Dr. Bob Jordan leads us through Psalm 34.
