When life is harsh—and quite frankly it often can be and often is— Christians are not without options. It is they/we who have One to whom we can turn. This One is both loving and strong—the perfect mixture. Because we belong to this God, we need only be still, silent, waiting, even when we feel like everything, including ourselves, is falling apart. God is our refuge, our fortress; we will not be moved.
