Fresh Faith: Guard Yourself-Sermon-June 20, 2021

Apathy, among other things, can lead to complacency, settling, and negotiating away the very faith we claim to hold dear. We become discouraged, disappointed and/or distracted and before long we’ve compromised our faith. In the time of Malachi, God’s children had given up on parts of their covenant with God in the name of better economic gain. The men divorced their wives so they could form marriages with daughters of other cultures, hoping to make a better economic arrangement. Yet they kept making sacrifices to God! Malachi calls them out and tells them to guard themselves. We too need to guard ourselves! Listen as Dr. Bob Jordan explores Malachi 2:10-16 in this week's sermon.
