THE greatest thing ever in the history of the universe is that in order to conquer death on our behalves and set us right with God, Jesus Christ died on the cross and was raised from the dead. Yet in responding to this amazing act of grace, people can be quite stingy with their responses—including (and maybe even especially) with their monetary gifts.
