To say we belong to God is also to say we belong to God’s people, God’s Church. Christians, whether they choose to recognize it or not, are a community, a citizenry, a people. As God’s people, we share faith in common, both as a gift and as a response. Nurturing a healthy shared faith is imperative for God’s people to glorify their God.
