Good evening. North Dakota. I'm Aaron Jolly. Step outside and you might bump into your own mailbox. We're dealing with a wall of fog tonight. Visibility has dropped to a quarter mile or less across much of the state, so a Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10 A.M. Thursday. That covers the James River Valley and southeastern North Dakota. If you're driving tonight or tomorrow morning, please take it slow and use those low beams. In the next 24 hours. Right now, we're sitting at 28 degrees under gray skies. But here's the strange part: drive north and the thermometer crashes. Northern North Dakota is shivering at just 9 degrees. Central areas hover at 19 degrees. The east checks in at 23 degrees. That's a 14-degree spread from the Canadian border down to the South Dakota line. Tonight, that fog sticks around statewide.
