Mother Nature is running three different shows across the state today. Let's take a drive. Start out west. Western North Carolina is absolutely stealing the spotlight. Sunny skies, highs near 60 degrees, and barely a whisper of rain. Winds out of the west at 5 miles an hour. If you've been itching to hit the trails, this's your green light. Now head east into the Piedmont. Different vibe entirely. You're looking at 62 degrees, but rain is likely. Winds are calm at 3 miles an hour, so that umbrella won't be fighting you.
