Today’s reading takes us to Exodus 30, where the final pieces of the tabernacle point us toward worship, cleansing, and belonging to God. The golden altar of incense reminds us that sacrifice brings us near, but worship is the highest calling of redeemed people. God comes to us in mercy, and then He teaches us how to approach Him in worship.
