That snow you're seeing out the window? It's just getting started. We've already picked up about half an inch. And a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect statewide until 4 A.M. Wednesday. We're looking at 2 to 5 inches of fresh powder before this system wraps up overnight.
In the next 24 hours. The steadiest snow falls between 8 and 9 P.M. Tonight. Southern New Hampshire sees a twist after 11 P.M. — sleet and freezing rain mix in. Fortunately, road treatments should keep ice accumulation minimal. Down in the Monadnock Region, precipitation wraps up around 1 A.M. Head north toward the White Mountains. And you're dealing with snow until about 2 A.M. Lows tonight bottom out around 23 to 25 degrees. But don't get too comfortable in the cold.
