Down along the Lower Colorado River Valley? That jumps to 50. And the Sierra ridgetops are getting hammered — 60 to 70 miles an hour. That's the kind of wind that makes you lean just to walk straight. Southern Nevada wakes up at 48 degrees this morning and climbs to a comfortable 66 by mid-afternoon under sunny skies. Tonight drops back to 48. Up north, you're starting colder — 26 degrees around 7 A.M. — but you'll warm nicely to 52 by this afternoon.
