Saint Francis U head women’s basketball coach Keila Whittington joins the NEC’s Tyler Ingle for a wide-ranging podcast as part of the conference’s celebration of Black History Month. She reflects on her experience as a student-athlete at Dillard, the oldest HBCU in Louisiana, and the profound influence of Black coaches throughout her basketball journey. Whittington also discusses the importance of representation in coaching and why it’s vital for young athletes = especially young Black girls - to see Black women leading at the highest levels.
