Good morning! I'm Aaron Jolly, and welcome to the Nebraska Weather Podcast. It's Friday, February 23rd. Folks, Nebraska woke up quiet this morning. Almost suspiciously quiet. Cold, calm, clear skies. The kind of morning where your breath hangs in the air like a little ghost. Here's the deal. Eastern Nebraska starts at 24 degrees with barely a whisper of wind. Three miles an hour out of the northwest. You won't even feel it. Skies stay wide open all day, letting temperatures climb into the upper 30s by afternoon. Tonight you're back down to the low 20s under a blanket of stars. Now head west and things get interesting. Western Nebraska's actually a touch warmer this morning at 27 degrees. But there's a plot twist. A slight chance of light snow showers sneaks in later today. Nothing to cancel plans over. Just enough to dust the ground like powdered ...
