Dr Parveen discusses her career to date and how her training in Pakistan has shaped her career and research interests. She discusses her role as Editor of Nursing Open a Wiley journal and gives advice to anyone wishing to undertake a PhD. Dr Parveen is also a Mary Seacole Scholar and her area of interest gender based violence and health inequalities.
