Educator & Musician DC Fisher may be a native of the Detroit area, buy he fully embodies the island lifestyle and vibe of the ukulele. After sitting in on the uke with another band, DC moved from guitar to the ukulele on an almost full time basis...at least for the summertime. A founder of the bands Uke & Drum and Uke Trio, DC and his bands are a fixture on the Jersey Shore summer scene with residencies throughout the Monmouth and Ocean County areas. DC also offers uke and guitar lessons from his Ocean County studio. For the rest of the summer you can catch Uke & Drum every Friday at the Lava Java House in Lavallette, every Saturday at the Beach Bar in Asbury Park, and Sundays at Chef Mike's ABG Tiki Bar in Seaside.
