In this episode, from a chapel service held on Tuesday 28 October 2025, Philip Kern, Head of the New Testament Department at Moore Theological College, speaks on John 12:1-3 and Mary anointing Jesus’ feet with perfume.

He reminds us that this story takes place just after Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, and that Mary’s act reflects her gratitude and her desire to honour the life-giver. Philip then challenges us to consider what it has cost us to honour Jesus.
