His stat line is absurd: • Fastball averages 99.3 mph • K-rate: 38.1% (99th percentile) • Whiff rate: 39.8% • xERA: 2.90 • Fastball spin percentile: 99th The extension percentile — meaning hitters are seeing his heater later than any starter alive — is also 99th.
