Western Missouri woke up to a crisp 40 degrees, but those northwest winds at 12 miles an hour make it feel like 33. Meanwhile. Eastern Missouri is hanging onto a muggy 60 degrees. But not for long. Rain clears out by 10 A.M. and watch the thermometer crash. You'll go from 67 degrees at midday down to 56 by the afternoon. That's a 33 degrees-degree drop in a few hours, so pack layers if you're east of I-44. Down in southwest Missouri, the story is a little different. A slight chance of rain lingers until 9 A.M., but skies clear quickly. Highs top out at 56, then fall overnight to 35. Those brisk northwest winds will make it feel even cooler.
