Winter's about to take a nap. Sunshine floods the state today. And temperatures are climbing fast. Western Missouri, you're hitting 63 by mid-afternoon. Eastern Missouri reaches 56. Down in the southwest? You're the winner at 65 degrees. That's 24 degrees to 24 degrees warmer than normal for late February. Tonight stays mild — upper 30s to low 40s under clear skies. Now Friday.. Friday is when things get wild. Highs soar into the low to mid 70s statewide. Southwest winds gust to 24 miles an hour. It'll feel like April crashed the party two months early. But here's the catch.
