The heaviest snow hits around 2 A.M. — you'll wake up Wednesday to about an inch on the ground. Up north, you're already dealing with it. The Brainerd Lakes saw a quick dusting this morning — 2 inches in spots. Another round arrives this afternoon with snow likely through tonight. Temperatures drop to 24 degrees with northeast winds gusting to 25 miles an hour. That's the kind of wind that finds every crack in your jacket. Down south, you stay milder longer.
