We're hitting the warmest temperatures of the year so far, with most of the state climbing into the low 60s. That's 15 to 20 degrees warmer than we'd expect for early March — the kind of day where you actually want to open the windows. Down in the Twin Cities. Here comes 63 degrees this afternoon under partly sunny skies. Southwest winds around 10 miles an hour are bringing in this mild air. Tonight drops to 43 with clouds building in. Southern Minnesota gets the best of it. Highs reach 62 degrees with mostly sunny conditions. Tonight stays mild around 44. Up north, you're still enjoying the warmth but a bit more subdued.
