Inside an alien lattice around a collapsed star, a warship crew tries to shut down its own power grid to stop a spinal weapon from firing. Any surge of energy triggers the structure to erase sections of matter instantly, cutting ships and bodies out of existence.

As the charge builds, every system has to run below a threshold that no one fully understands, forcing the crew to fight their own ship as much as command. Resistance spreads through engineering while loyalist units push to complete the overcharge, turning the interior into a controlled breakdown. What began as a mission to study the structure shifts into sabotage when the weapon can no longer be stopped through command.
