And by tonight, it turns into a full blown blizzard. Right now it's quiet. Enjoy these last few calm hours. Snow starts between 7 and 10 tonight. Light at first. Then it goes absolutely berserk. Snowfall rates hit 2 to 4 inches per hour overnight. The worst window is midnight through 8 A.M. Monday. Winds shift northeast and crank to 50 miles an hour inland. Out on the Cape and Islands? Gusts to 70 miles an hour. That's hurricane territory. Let's talk totals. Down in eastern Mass, you're staring at 1 to 2 feet. Three to 5 inches tonight, then another 11 to 17 inches Monday.
