On March 11, 1958, a hydrogen bomb was accidentally dropped on the small community of Mars Bluff, SC. For those who lived in Mars Bluff, especially the Gregg Family, this is one day in history that changed their lives forever.

On Episode 4, Part 1 of March 11, 1958 - The Bombing of Mars Bluff, SC we heard from Ms. Katharine Beeson-- an eye witness to that day's events and a member of the Gregg family. In Part 2, we will hear from Ms. Dorrie Ridenour, another eye witness.

Ms. Ridenour, 10 years old at the time of the bombing, witnessed the explosion from only a couple miles away. Tune in to hear about this terrifying event from a child's perspective.
