Sermon: Where Is Your Faith? — Jesus Calms the Storm (Luke 8:22-25)

Creation is broken, and storms — whether on the sea or in our lives — remind us of the curse humanity brought upon the world. In this message, we trace the theme of God's covenant with creation from Adam's fall to Noah's flood, and see how Jesus Christ, both fully God and fully man, brings ultimate healing to a groaning creation by commanding the wind and waves to be still.

Drawing on Romans 8:18-25 and Luke 8:22-25, this sermon explores the brokenness of a fallen world, the true identity of Jesus as the new Adam and New Covenant mediator, and the godly, faith-filled serenity we're called to have even in the face of life's fiercest storms.
