In our first episode (when we were still calling ourselves "No Place Like Home"), fabulous hosts Strawberry Gelato and Kittie Fae Woods (currently known as Gen Da Playboi) interview and play games with legendary Chicago musician Boys VS Girls. This episode combines the opening of our live audience-recorded show at Nobody's Darling Bar with an extended private interview with Boys Vs Girls. We talk about scamming our way into a live show, biphobia in the queer community, and celebrate bisexuality and pansexuality. Then in our one on one with Boys vs Girls, we chat about how he found his sound, Tiktok success, and what its like being a Black Queer Alternative artist in Chicago. About the Featured Guest Fusing Hip-Hop, Emo, Alternative and everything in-between, Boys VS Girls is a post genre artist in an age and time where genre is becoming more fluid. Boys VS Girls’ mission is simple: to save lives and make people who have felt invisible their whole lives to feel visible.
