Dr. Rhonda Turpin
Dr. Rhonda Turpin is a formerly incarcerated woman who served 15 ½ years for a nonviolent conspiracy offense. Prior to prison, she was an Executive Director of a non-profit, JUMP Inc, and owner of an internet cafe. She completed her Master’s Degree from Cleveland State University earlier in life. Before coming to prison she was a funding consultant and grant writer for 24 agencies that included churches and Universities. Rhonda was released through the good time credit clause and left prison 108 days earlier than her scheduled release date. While incarcerated her 34-year-old daughter was killed in a “freak” accident. She is excited to raise her five grandchildren that her daughter left behind when she was killed. During the Obama Administration, she petitioned for clemency but was denied. Her passion at this time in her life is writing and assisting 501-c-3 organizations in grant writing. Robin Kinnie
Robin Kinnie IS a Boss Lady of Detroit. She is the President of Motor City Woman, a multimedia broadcast studio located here in Detroit). She is the President of Audio Engineers of Detroit, an audio engineering trade school also here in Detroit. She also serves as the Detroit Chapter Head of Soundgirls.org, a national organization focused on increasing the number of women in audio engineering. Robin is dedicated to creating a platform for underrepresented voices in broadcasting and podcasting, and I'm proud to say that Love, Sex, Business is one of them. Her book “The Motor City Woman Planner for New Podcasters” is available for download on Amazon.
