Viewing the manifold results of Christ's redeeming work upon the cross, we find ourselves loaded with benefits - 1. It brings justification ( Romans 3:24) 2. It imparts the forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7; Colossians 1:14) 3. It prepares for adoption or son-placing ( Galatians 4:4-5; Romans 8:23) 4. It purifies a people for God's possession, zealous of good works(2 Samuel 7:23; Titus 2:14; 1 Peter 2:9) 5. It makes us God's property, not our own ( Isaiah 43:1; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20) 6. It enables us to find the new song, the song of redemption ( Revelation 5:9) 7. It delivers from fear ( Isaiah 41:10-14; 43:1) 8. It brings joy and a holy walk, even as it will bring the same to Israel ( Isaiah35:8-10; 51:11; 62:12)
