KNOW: Paul is answering the Corinthian’s questions pertaining to

marriage and singleness not with strict rules, but with pastoral advice.

Christianity has far less to do with “do’s and don’ts” than it does with

adhering to a wise biblical worldview. Singleness is a good condition and

not to be despised. Marriage is also good. Situations at hand will often

dictate the wisdom related to pursuing either state in life. We have

profound freedoms in Christ.

DO: Be wise in your decision making related to nonbinding matters of

the faith. The wise life is the less anxious life.

For the present form of this world is passing away. – 1 Corinthians 7:31
