KNOW: Paul laid a foundation for the church in Corinth by his teaching,

preaching, etc. Others now build upon it. That is how the church works

and has always worked. However, the true and abiding foundation of the

church is her Savior, Jesus Christ. Those who attempt to build up

Christ’s church by any other means will be shown to be deficient. We are

Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.

DO: Set your life, and your church, on the foundation of Jesus Christ.

For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which

is Jesus Christ. - 1 Corinthians 3:11
