KNOW: The word of the cross (the gospel) lands differently on different

people. The word itself is eternal, but humans find it either foolish or

powerful based upon God’s work in their lives and their response to that

work.

DO: Hear the word of the cross. Know the power of the cross.

For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to

us who are being saved it is the power of God. - 1 Corinthians 1:18
