Walther shows from Scripture that the Church is not defined by names, constitutions, or synodical affiliations, but by what is actually taught. We explore the biblical command to flee false teachers, why remaining in fellowship with false doctrine is itself a confession, and why a church that claims the Lutheran Confessions while denying them in practice is more dangerous than open heterodoxy.
